A list of the medium to large size free-view images currently on this site (page last updated 8 Sept 2008)
From a wide number of sources, the Society has a unique collection of over 10,000 negatives covering pre-grouping, grouping and nationalised eras of British railways and many from overseas railways. See sample from List 24 The lists currently available, covering some 4,300 subjects, are on the Photographic Collections lists page.(All images remain in copyright to original photographers/their descendants for 75 years following the date of death of photographer. Please respect this part of The Copyright Design and Patents Act 1988 these images are only free to view. If you wish to use any for commercial purposes please E mail the Webmaster (John New)
