The Society publishes a bi-monthly illustrated Journal, exclusive to members, with authoritative articles on locomotives and the railway scene, past and present, home and overseas, together with the latest stock changes. Long term archiving of your Journal - Link to Journal contents archive
For members wishing to get their Journals bound for long term archival an option is to try D J Bookbinders of Dorset. They are a specialist transport magazine bookbinder established for over 30 years. The cost of binding a standard volume of the SLS Journal is £19.00 (6 issues + index . They have a wide range of colours available and would be happy to discuss any individual requirements as regards extra lettering etc. Personal callers are always welcome, but if you are unable to visit, they offer a postal service.
